Chair I wanted to make it clear to everyone why we do what we do.
Based on our procedure I as the election chair will never know who voted for who.
One person (in this years case my wife) will check all envelopes that come in and check the names and numbers on the back of the envelopes to make sure those members are valid.
If there are 2 valid names on the envelope and she opens it and it contains 2 ballots, then both are put in a pile as valid ballots.
Then another person (in this years case myself) will take those valid ballots and unfold them in the counting process with my neighbors there to witness.
That way, even I have no idea who made the votes since names are not on the ballots.
Hopefully they helps explain better.
Thanks
