Are you sure about that address? The picture (if it's of 2295 S Virginia St) sure looks more like downtown. In google maps, 2295 S Virginia is 3 blocks north of the current Peppermill Casino, and it doesn't seem to me like the types of buildings shown would have been clustered there. Currently, a Black Bear Diner, El Pollo Loco, and some strip mall shops are at that address. I love all this old history stuff. Thanks for sharing it with us.
