These conversations I can add some information on this as I do have some knowledge.

I do remember you and Pete Lowell making a very generous donation to the club of 430 nicer fairly valuable chips at the 2019 convention.

I remember this as you gave them to me and asked that they be used for Membership promotions.

In fact I still have an email detailing the quantities and list of each chip in that donation.

Those chips were given to Roy Nelson at that time who was the membership officer with the specific instructions on how they were to be used. I also have an email I sent to Jerry Vergatos who was the President At that time asking that you and Pete be sent donation acknowledgment letters for tax purposes and once again explaining what they were to be used for.

Jerry or Roy should be able to give you a better status as what happened after that as I was no longer on the BOD and just running the raffles.

I also know that you made several VERY nice donations to the raffle over the years I was running the program. Those donations were VERY MUCH appreciated and were a large part of the success for the raffles those years.

However neither of the items I mentioned were MOGH donation and were meant for other specific club purposes.

If there were other MOGH donations I may have misinterpreted your message but the one I remember was the one I had involvement in accepting the chips for the membership promotion purposes.

The MOGH itself is not directly involved with promotions for membership and I don’t believe either Jim Follis was on the board at that time and Charles Kaplan wasn’t MOgH chair either.
