We all know that change is hard, and for people who are resistive to it, it's even harder.

People forget the change they had to go through to get to here from the old Prodigy and CompuServe days, but I'm sure no one would want to go back to it.

I understand the certain appeal of the Chip Board: it's super simple, everyone's been using it for years and they are used to it.

But the world has changed and the format has outlived it usefulness. The "everything in one long list of messages" format isn't used anymore, and the features of the Club's message board are really the way to go. It's what PCF uses, it's what Poker Chipper uses, it's really what every modern forum uses. I've seen feedback posted on other platforms when new collectors start exploring collecting resources they are astounded when they see the format CB uses. I can assure you the reaction is NOT positive.

It gives the club a modern platform to grow and keep things organized. As you have started to see it's where club communications and business is started to be conducted. The registration requirement helps keep spam to a minimum.

Club members especially should be grateful to Barry for helping launch and maintain this new way forward.
