Upcoming AC and NorCal club meetings are being added to the calendar as we speak.

I've enabled the Birthday event setting. Birthdays of users only show up if they've entered their birthday in their profile. If you don't want your birthday shown on the calendar, delete it from your profile. Otherwise, be prepared for lots of birthday wishes from your fellow goofballs.

I CAN enable the display of holidays, but I don't feel its relevant in the club and would just clutter up the calendar. Change my mind if you like.

If you know of any of the following types of events taking place in the future (ANY time in the future), please add them to the calendar. All regular users of the message boards (not guests) can add and edit their own events.

* Club meetings
* Collectible shows (Ohio show, SNCCC Fall Show, ANA, Silver Strikers, Swizzle Stickers, Napkiners, Door Handlers, etc)
* Auctions (Potter & Potter, Chip Chat, Notable eBay items?, Morphy, etc)
* Events taking place within another event (June Convention: Splashy Awards, Poker Tournament, Setup, Exhibits, Speakers, Raffles, Tear Down, Volunteer dinners, etc)
* Grand openings for new casinos, games, facilities
* New chip releases (out with the old, in with the new)
* Special chip releases (year of, grand opening, millennium, etc)
* Tournaments with collectibles as prizes (Silver Strikers Tournament, etc)
* Implosions (officially scheduled and authorized only, please. No t*rror*sm allowed per club rules. It is a rule, right?)
* Casino Closings (booooooo!)
* Last call to redeem chips
* Special events (100 years of legalized gambling in Nevada, New Jersey, Macau, Antarctica, etc)

When you create an event, it automatically posts the event in the Events category of the message boards.

I hope to see lots of filled-in dates with lots of events and I hope I'm not the only one populating it (hint, hint).

And of course please check the calendar regularly to see what's going on in this crazy hobby of ours.
