You make a good point that I hadn't considered. I assumed that people clicking on the link already have an account on the new boards or will sign up right then and there (it's free and easy).

Some sections are read-only (guests). Some sections are available to everyone. Some sections are reserved for CCA members only. Logging in is required for the permissions to do their thing. Otherwise, you're treated as a guest and you'll be VERY limited to what you can see. Yes, this is by design. Login to see more. Join the club to see everything.
