Tyler, Texas still has a vibrant rose industry as the Texas city produces a large share of today's stemmed roses -- the city's bush growers send new varieties around the world. This commemorative token and others similar to it were given by the daily newspaper to out-of-town royalty participating in the long-standing crowning of the Rose Queen.
