one of my favorite movie quotes (from Citizen Kane): "Well, it's no trick to make a lot of money... if all you want is to make a lot of money."

Buying and and selling isn't hard to do without a club...if all you want to do is buy and sell.

But...
If you want to meet others who enjoy collecting...
If you want to learn about the history of chips and the places where they came from...
If you want to learn about new things coming out...
If you want to learn about things you never knew existed...
If you want to hear directly from the people who helped form the industry...

Then the club is a pretty good way to do all of that. I've recently had the time to help the club is some aspects and I am enjoying it immensely.

Right now the club doesn't have a super easy way to raise your hand to help, we are working on making that much easier. But I encourage everyone to consider helping, you get a lot back.

One aspect that really needs help is with articles. You don't need to be Hemmingway (look him up kids!) to submit an article. All points of view, all aspects of the hobby, all subjects are welcome. And it's a way to share what you know with over 1,000 other interested people.
