I have some standard information I usually send or post for new Chippers:
The CCA (Casino Collectibles Association) is a national club of collectors. We have a new (after 20 years!) web site, it’s OK, but we are looking to improve it. Right now, it’s free, some sections may eventually become members only. Here is the site: https://www.ccgtcc.com/index.aspx
I’m helping them be more of an online resource. If you are looking to know more it’s worth joining. I think it’s $40 for a year.
Biggest benefit is the club magazine sent 4x a year. You can see back issues for free (for now) on the site here: https://www.ccgtcc.org/magazine/index.aspx
You can look around on the web site for other resources.
If you decide to join you can do it from here: https://www.ccgtcc.org/membership/index.aspx
This is a great resource to look up individual chips: https://chipguide.com/
There is a huge convention/show each year in June. If you can line up the time, I have heard it's pretty incredible: https://www.ccgtcc.com/events/convention/index.aspx
Members also get an account with the Chip Guide where you can log in and organize your collection and create Want and Trade lists. This video explains how you can do it: https://youtu.be/ETB6KyG1Iro
