Exactly how appropriate is it for my husband to be receiving emails from his opponent in the challenge for CCA Vice Presidency to silence me??? He was told to “control” me and the family!!!
In the past I have been a very contributing entity to the CCA as a promotions chair and for atleast the last five years working with the Museum of Gaming History.
I have earned the right to have an opinion and a voice.
Everything that I stated in my “in retrospect “ statement is absolutely true and honest. He wants me silenced not because he doesn’t want a circus. He does not want to be held accountable for what he did!!!! Still two years later and no apology and no accountability.
Apparently he forgot that I was there when all the panic went down and everyone was scrambling to fix this horrible situation that happened and potentially if the convention didn’t happen what liability would the CCA have to the dealers and what about our long standing relationship with the Southpoint??? He must have forgotten about the risk he put us in. Based on what excuses he has given as for this abandon could have played out very differently if he had the ability to project how dire a situation he put us in. But he apparently didn’t care enough or lacked the ability to foresee the end result. Both of which are not good excuses in a leadership roll.
By the way, my comment about a storefront meeting place had nothing to do with the constant generosity of Ann and the Spinetti family. My point was that there was no preparation on the part of the local club for being self sustaining financially to even have a place to meet, especially when continually saying how successful the shows that they platform are.
I also think that it shows his innate nature by trying to bully my husband and me. What a leader.
