Greetings members of the Casino Collectibles Association, the CCA.
As many of you may know, I am running for re-election as the Vice President of the CCA. I have served the CCA, in this capacity since 2018, under 2 different Presidents, and several different Board members over that time. I feel well prepared to continue as the Club's Vice President.
During my tenure, I have faithfully and unrelentingly met all of my Vice Presidential obligations, and I have continually conducted myself in accordance with the CCA's Constitution, Bylaws and Code of Ethics.
I have dedicated a substantial amount of time to the CCA and on several occasions I have had to step-up and fill-in for an absentee President, in accordance with the CCA Constitution, and faithfully fulfilled those duties for many months, on several occasions.
The CCA is now in the beginning stages of the 2024 Election, and I am respectfully requesting the support of CCA members everywhere, with your votes to retain me as the Vice President. Look for the CCA's Official Election Ballot in the upcoming Spring issue of the CCA's Award-winning magazine, the Casino Collectibles News. Be sure to copy and share the ballot with your affiliated Associate member(s) to cast votes in my favor.
I have a proven track-record of allegiance to the CCA. I have had and continue to have an excellent working relationship with the current CCA Board and look forward to continuing that relationship with the uncontested slate of Board members, including the 2 new At-Large positions that begin their terms in June. I congratulate both of them, Dick Bartley and Richard Huber, both of whom I have known and have worked with for years.
I believe that talk is cheap, and actions speak louder than words. At the 2023, 30th Annual Convention and Show, I was honored to receive my 25th Anniversary Membership Service pin, which as seen here, I attached to my Convention Badge. That badge reflects my extensive involvement with our Club in the past, and as we all know, past actions can forecast future actions.
Thank you for your time in reading this Statement and I plan to issue further Statements on the hobby-affiliated Message Boards and elsewhere.
Respectfully yours,
Jim Follis
Vice President
Casino Collectibles Association
