Drove a Checker Cab for a while during school days. My Best Friends father owned the company. Three on the tree, 6 cylinder engine and heavy as a tank. It was amazing the mileage it got on a tank of gas.

My most interesting passenger, I am sure you know him, was Pat St.John.

He was at Mothers in Wayne New Jersey and drove him into Manhattan 1 am in the morning on a Saturday night. That cut into our drinking time at the GoGo bars but it was worth the tip........
