... (IMO) the savior of the north end of the Strip all by itself. One piece of the puzzle, yes. There are just too many non-gaming businesses and residences up there for one gaming property to be able to rejuvenate/save the whole north end. If you define the north end of the Strip as beginning with Encore, you've only got five major properties: Sahara, Fontainebleau, Encore, Resorts World, and Circus Circus occupying an area that should be able to support (at least space-wise) two or three more large casinos. No idea if that will ever happen - but as I said earlier, I don't think Fontainebleau was ever going to be the savior of the north Strip by itself.
