up in the residential area of Beverly Hills, at least a mile from our office which is her usual route. She was surprised to see me, and said she was doing a "double shift" when another carrier did not show up for work. When that happens, the carrier has to work into the early evening. I guess that pays well. I saved her life once, yelling at her as she crossed Beverly Drive and an oncoming vehicle did not stop at the crosswalk. So she kinda likes me.
