I have no idea where the attribution came from but I know that I did find a bunch of the red RBP chips in Newport years ago mixed with other known
Newport chips. I know that does not prove anything but it is a lead. I wonder if anyone has checked the old directories for people with the last name that starts with P and have the initials of RB?? If there is such a person then maybe he could be traced to a known business that may have had gambling.
