I’m old enough to say that the T-Bird was still open the first time I came to Vegas. Although I was still a child, I was mesmerized by that long, blue and green sign over the parking lot in your third-to-last picture. You can’t tell, but there was like a million light bulbs on that sign that sparkled on and off. I don’t think that sign was operational for very long, because it’s not easy to find a picture of it. As a wide eyed kid, I thought it was the best sign on the entire Strip.
