The newer, slimmer hubs were from a mold replacement sometime in the 1960s. There is a noticable difference from the old hubs and the new ones (funny that "new" can be 60 years ago).

That particular chip, if it has a denomination on the reverse, is from 1971 for Jack Coleman, Elkhart, Indiana.
