band that played in Las Vegas (don't remember where). Bob Attias of West Los Angeles had put the group together, it was the Blues Image before that. Mr. Attias was quite the entrepreneur (you may add your own noun here). He had, supposedly, the permission of one surviving member of The Coasters to pull that one off. I know because . . . I was their roadie, driving from L. A. to Las Vegas every two weeks, and back when the two-week engagements were over. Then in another two weeks, they were again performing so back I would drive, across the Mojave Desert in the middle of the night. Joshua Trees are REALLY scary at night!
