My first serious girlfriend thought The Hippo Tune (I called it that just to p*** her off) was the GREATEST Christmas song ever. So, one year, I made the worst mistake in my entire life, something I regret doing to this day!!

I found the song on CD and bought it for her.

She played it. Non-stop. Until August!!

Then she convinced the program director at my radio station to play it. So he put it on a cart and it went into the Christmas pile.

And I had to play it. Every year at Christmas. And whenever I did, she would call and laugh at me.

P.S. - Christmas is the Time to Say I Love You - Billy Squier. Why couldn't it have been THIS song?!?
