The show is just one part of the convention. The convention is made up of the show, the banquet, tournaments, trade sessions, meetings, etc. Only the show is marketed for non-members.

It always bothered me that events that occur on Wednesday of convention week are considered "Early Bird". The banquet, trade sessions, and other Wednesday events are an integral part of the convention.

On the CCA website, the dates for the 2024 convention are June 13 to 15, Thursday to Saturday. The opening day should be Wednesday June 12. Any advertising to non-members should use the June 13 to 15 dates.
