I think an attribution is warranted.
And if more info arises then it can be
made official or changed but in the meantime
a person could have a possible place
for these chips to belong. I think it’s fair to do
such placements as it gives the chip a face and
maybe a place for those to compare or find
another example of one they have.
No harm in attribution
I’ve seen a couple few changed over the years
as more info found on them.
Here’s an example of one I had for years and finally

with others of the same in an original redwood
