Yes, I overpaid for this chip, and you will too! LOL But seriously, this ten cent chip from 1950s Reno NV is as seemingly rare as its 2 brethren, the $5 and the $20, even though they are valued higher. Its book value jumped in the last issue of TCR (probably my own damn fault) and it’s in great condition. Sharp edges and no serious visible wear (HS-Gold is not as shiny on one side as the other, but it’s uniform). I got this chip from Chip Chat #51, so you can go back and see what Doug said about it then. Since my purchase, it’s been stored in an airtite inside of a safe and guarded by a pair of grass-fed unicorns.
If you missed out on it then, now’s your chance to own it. Price: $229.95 and that includes 1st class package shipping in a padded envelope with a tracking number. Add $11.05 if you want 2-day priority (box). I accept VenMo and PayPal. Use friends & family or add 4% if you don’t trust me and prefer to use goods & services.
Don’t want to part with the cash? I’m open to trades. Check out my want list in the link in my signature. I’m generally not interested in trading for anything that’s not on my list at this time, but I’ve been “upgrading” lower value chips to higher value ones, so if I can’t find a buyer or trader from my primary list, I’ll be interested in other options.
Yes, I can see my pics are sideways. Lay down when viewing and you’ll be fine. Or wait for a do-gooder to fix and re-post them. Or just go look at the chip guide.
