Back in 1971 I was in the Navy stationed in Newport, RI. I had to Fly down to Charleston SC to meet up with the USS Wainwright. I had to shot photos for a story about an anti sub warfare system for our Comcrudeslant (Commander Cruiser Destroyer Force Atlantic) Magazine. We stopped in New York for a few days and I had to shoot photos of three Playboy Bunnies visiting the ship. I know, tough job but, someone had to do it. Just so you don't think I'm making this up, here's my credit line in the magazine article. We also got invitations as guest to the NY Playboy Club. And they gave us tickets to a Broadway show. It was all 50 years ago but, I'll never forget it.
