Extra!0 New Arrival’$, Chip Tip & Weekly Note!

Good Day Everyone; Folks, I hate to remind you but it is almost FALL! I hear the car transports drop off cars at our gate, I can feel the traffic beginning to swell the streets and avenues; the snow birds are starting to flutter around the neighborhoods. Not much happening around the Reggie chip control desk, and collection central here in Florida. I Should have some new old stuff next week. Thanks for reading my note this week. Going to have a reverse auction, probably around the first of October for chip board, more specifically; David Spragg.

To save money buying chips from my posts, here are some tips:

1) Remember I ship via United States Post Office (USPS) so by buying more than one chip you will most definitely save you money. Try to remember I have a hold service; by shipping several chips you save.
2) I trade, and yes; over the last few years trading has lost it popularity, however it still is the best way to save money in this hobby. And yes a trade/cash combo works, too!
3) A third way, tried and true; is to send me a listing, short list or larger list and make me an offer. I may make a counter offer, but know this; it still will result in a considerable savings.
4) Here are various ways to create cash discounts:
a) To get at least a 10% discount spend at least $100 (single chip or a total of $100)
b) To get padded envelope shipments be a regular customer with hold service.
c) Over $100 sales will require a bit of negotiations.

Trading Policy (Short Version) 9-9

MY TRADING POLICY

CHIP TRADING THE SHORT VERSION

10 QUICK POINTS

1)Try to be an equal partner in the trade, do not make one party of the trade do all the work.ª
2)I try not to do lateral trading. In other words; I do not like to trade any chips I have one of for another chip I do not have any of; and I have it in my personal collection already.ª
3)Commons for commons, Current table chips for current table chips, new racks for new rack.ª
4)Denominations should be handled the same as commons, in most cases a $5 chip for a $5 chip.ª
5)The obsolete group…these have to be traded based on the Guides valuation. And/or the asking price.ª
6)It is always up to the two people that own the two chips that want to trade; to be satisfied with the trade. It is a trade when it is mutually acceptable to both parties.ª
7)I prefer to trade with CCA members, because of the honesty of this group is impeccable. I do and have made trades with non-members.ª
8)Try not to send severely nicked, damaged, or extremely dirty chips.ª
9)A trading policy, is usually never the same with any two chip collectors, try to briefly explain your trading policy up front as soon as possible, in order to circumvent any surprises.ª
10)Always let the trading partner know when you receive your chips.ª

* CA, MT or NV chips for MT chips.
