Did they initially have their own location prior to their ventures with other casinos?

I ask because there was an article found in a vintage (1960's) Sunday Times describing their early-on operation but, I cannot locate the info, nor can I locate a Burt Co. order card and, the BG notes I had from 1993, were sent out to a few UK writers back then whom are no longer around.
