HARVEST ADVENTURES FROM AN ADDICTED CHIP COLLECTOR

Hello Chippers; Here is a short story from yours truly or a guest author of our experiences while harvesting somewhere in the gaming world. A few are from countries out side the USA. Most are entertaining and most are instructive as to what to do or what not to do while harvesting chips from casinos or card rooms.
Some people have compulsions to gamble, some to amass fortunes and other’s, they just like to write stories; yeah, that would be me. I was never very good at it; but I have done it over the years just the same.
If any of you want any inside info on any casino that I’ve been to, I would be happy to tell you what I can.

NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINES

NANCY AND I BOOKED A CRUISE ON THE NORWEGIAN SUN IN OCTOBER OF 2013. IT WAS SO CHEAP WE JUST COULD NOT STAY AT HOME. ELEVEN DAYS FOR $379 + PORT CHARGES. THE CRUISE TOOK US TO SOUTH AMERICA AND BACK WITH SEVERAL PORT OF CALLS. TRANSLATED, SEVERAL HARVESTS ON ISLANDS THAT I HAD NEVER BEEN, NAMELY ARUBA AND CURACAO.
THE SUN HAD A NICE CASINO AND THERE WAS A POKER GAME EVERY NIGHT. I DID PRETTY WELL THE FIRST 4 OR 5 NIGHTS, BUT THE TRAVELING AND GOING ASHORE TO DO THE HARVESTS FINALLY TOOK ITS’ TOLL ON ME. AFTER LOSING BACK WHAT I WON EARLY IN THE TRIP I GAVE IT UP FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS OR SO.
I HARVESTED QUITE WELL IN ARUBA AND CURACAO, BROUGHT BACK SOME NEW ONES FROMTHE SEAPORT IN ARUBA, AT THE TIME I DID NOT KNOW THEY WERE NEW. ALSO IN ARUBA, WE WERE THERE ON SUNDAY AND THE H/D STORE WAS CLOSED, THAT WAS A DIS-APPOINTMENT. HAD A DAY SHIFTMANAGER GO INTO THE VAULT AT CURACAO PLAZA CASINO AND DIG OUT SOME OLD STUFF IN CURACAO, INCLUDING SOME SCROLL MOLDS.
ON THE SHIP I HARVESTED THE NORMAL STUFF, AND ON ST THOMAS I BROUGHT BACK SOME HARLEY DAVIDSON CHIPS, THEY WENT FAST. NOTHING NEW IN SAINT MAARTEN AND I DID NOT TRY TO GET ANYTHING FROM CARTAGENA COLUMBIA, NOT ENOUGH TIME NOR OPPORTUNITY.

Addendum: Dec. 13, 2019 Norwegian Pearl
An older ship, but fairly nice. Did not enjoy the cruise so much, no chips to harvest, no live poker, they could not get enough people to play (2-5 No Limit) All the other table games were available. Blackjack was endless shuffle tables, all of them. This cruise went to Costa Playa, Mexico. This cruise was Nancy and my Christmas present to each other, Merry Christmas 2019. Reggie
