The best poker tournament in the local area was the end of month tournament at Talking Stick. Always at least four hundred players with a $150 buy in that made for a nice prize pool. They wanted to drum up KENO business, so the players got a $5 KENO ticket with their buy in. I did OK over the years from the KENO tickets, so I did not mind the $5 out of the prize pool. I always played my lotto numbers. Then came a tournament that started out pure agony. I always played six numbers. The first five balls were five of my numbers. My play was very distracted looking for my sixth ball to fall. It never did fall.
