Extra!6 New Arrival’$, Chip Tip & Weekly Note!

Good Day Everyone, I have a few more jewels from the green felt jungle and a couple are from the early 1930’s. In a few years those will have survived a hundred years, and will just get better and better as the time goes by. Check out some of my money saving tips, they usually revolve around postal services.
I am starting beef up my traders for next years convention, and truly going to try to fly out Las Vegas next year. I want to thank you all that responded to my question on the chip board. My specific wants are still Montana chips that I don’t already have.

To save money buying chips from my posts, here are some tips:

1) Remember I ship via United States Post Office (USPS) so by buying more than one chip you will most definitely save you money. Try to remember I have a hold service; by shipping several chips you save.
2) I trade, and yes; over the last few years trading has lost it popularity, however it still is the best way to save money in this hobby. And yes a trade/cash combo works, too!
3) A third way, tried and true; is to send me a listing, short list or larger list and make me an offer. I may make a counter offer, but know this; it still will result in a considerable savings.
4) Here are various ways to create cash discounts:
a) To get at least a 10% discount spend at least $100 (single chip or a total of $100)
b) To get padded envelope shipments be a regular customer with hold service.
c) Over $100 sales will require a bit of negotiations.

CHIP TIPS FOR CHIP COLLECTORS

RECEIVING SHIPMENTS OF CHIPS

This is very important

Please remember, when you are trading with fellow chippers, or buying from a chip collector or dealer; to let the person you received chips from know that you received them. That should happen the day you open your shipment and verify its contents. It is impossible to predict or guess when delivery will be made.
Also, put a little blurb in your short message to the sender concerning the condition of the package/chips. That helps shipper know that his shipping methods are adequate.
Sometimes, we all forget. Sometimes we just do not know it is customary to do so. Sometimes we are just learning about this crazy hobby.
