I remember talking with Ernie Ferri at the Alamo. He took me
in the liquor room which was dug out of the hillside where he
kept all the old Alamo chips and let me take what I wanted.
There was a 21 table in the bar but it was just used for a table.
I stayed at the Overland several times and the rooms were all
a different theme. No elevator though. Pioche was a tough town.
Many people were gunned down before anyone died of natural
causes. The million dollar courthouse is the main attraction.
