Desperado Roller Coaster temporarily shut down in February 2020 due to "severe maintenance issues". According to Affinity Gaming, the roller coaster will remain closed, until further notice.

Which is sad, because we rode it on one of our stays in Las Vegas, Around 20 years ago. I will say, the reports of bone jarring are true. I think we both had bruises after the ride. Best memory of that same day, besides the ride, was the Oyster shooters at the bar on the second level.

Maybe someone can update what's open or closed at Primm and the current situation? I read reviews that say the entire trio of casinos are broken down and in disrepair. Did someone revitalize it since 2020?

Last trips to Las Vegas, we went West for the ride in the country, and last time, Valley of Fire for a day. We've also been out to Jean, just to see it, and Hoover Dam for the tour. But I'd like to go back to Primm again, just for the fun and the ride. 45 Minutes is nothing on the Interstate.
