The fact still remains that they are jetons regardless of what game they were used on and NOT chips so the section needs to be changed to include both types or it is incorrect whichever way you try to paint it. So roulette chips/jetons would make more sense and be factually correct.
Documentation, great, maybe that will shed some light on the matter. Hopefully it will contain concrete proof that they were indeed only used on the (London) French roulette table/s as that would be the only way to actually confirm anything with any certainty.
Maybe you can also get confirmation that the plaques were only used on FR too so they can be moved even though they are not chips either but as it seems the over riding factor to you is the game that they were used on and not the type of item, that's where they should be too if following your criteria.
