Paris casino question

A guy I play poker with every week just got back from a tour in Italy and mentioned that he had 700 euros left over. That pushed a decision that I have been debating about for several years - to take a trip to Paris to visit sites that I have yet to see as well as the main purpose - to see all of the Paris flea market. I bought his euros and for slightly more than what I paid to get to the convention last year I got my airplane ticket. Of course, I want to hit as many of the Paris casinos as possible. My question is whether the Club Monmartre is still open. I doubt if it is (although that disagrees with the chipguide and other websites) since their website appears not to work and many sites no longer list their open hours or recent tournaments. Does anyone know for sure if this place is still open?

I also have discovered something that really surprised me. Unlike in the states I found that many VRBO units are considerably less costly than comparable hotels. And there is the advantage of not only a kitchen (which will probably only get used for breakfast) but also it may have a real refrigerator with a freezer for those of us who like ice cubes in our drinks at night. grin
