Great little town, " just up the road from Winnemucca " at least that's what they told me. I drove up there about 25 years ago looking for old gaming equipment and chips. The only place open was the Say When Casino. When I got inside their was no one inside , except for the bartender. Sat down got a beer and found out the bartender was the owner, I think his name was Todd. I asked the usual question about gaming stuff.
He sold me one of his current $100 chips. Then he told me he had the old series of chips in the basement. Amazing how most of these old clubs had a basement. He proceeded to open a large safe and pulled out numerous racks of his earlier LG-KEY $5 and $25 chips. He had 2 variations of each.Told me I could buy what I wanted, but I had to pay face for the chips. I bought about $400 to $500 in chips, and we spent the rest of the afternoon in the nice cool basement drinking a little Jack. He told me some great stories about his little town and all the little clubs that once flourished their. Pam, again thanks for the memories.
