Re: 2 of them had been seen before.

On the site I mentioned in another thread, Jeff Lindsay's collectablemania. I saw them in 2014 and got in touch (2016) to see if he had any more info about them or if there was anything that he was selling but we didn't end up connecting properly in the end. Just the pink and green ones from (probably/possibly) London were on the site. The photos were watermarked so I didn't feel comfortable showing them.
I thought that I had mentioned them in passing to a couple of the Playboy collectors but maybe not. It's a bit like my mentioning the London 50p (no inserts) more than once that hasn't even had a question asked, or mentioned, by anybody else since. I've only seen 1 (like the Playboy Victoria 50p without inserts) and do have a photo but it's at an angle and not really good enough to use in the book or on the guide. I did ask the person who took it if they minded me taking a copy and they were fine about it.
Regardless of what is or is not known, nice find. Pity I didn't just make them an offer instead of bidding first on 2 of them. Once I knew that there were 2 people I knew going for them, I dropped out (as you know). After they were shown on the board I expected others to bid too.
Anyway, just thought it was worth mentioning.
Hope all is well, Torrey, take care and have fun.
