If I have an idea of the price and value, yes. I'd rather just pay a little more and get what I want, without the waiting, sniping or bidding.
Listing things, If I don't know, I might try an auction.
One thing that I didn't do before and I use with mixed interest is allowing the make an offer. Especially if it's something that hasn't sold after a couple tries, and has watchers. The down side is absurd low offers. But I suppose if someone is working at "buy and sell" and they can grab an item for well below the usual, they have to give it a try?
