Re: Small town stuff; Jackpot... grin

My first trip to Jackpot was April 1966. Diamond Jim’s was already
closed but I found a dozen or so cases of their ashtrays behind a
convenience store across the street. Cactus Pete’s was just a small
joint showed in your PC. The Stardust was still there but closed.
There was a hole in the wall and I went in and picked up a bunch of
paper stuff. The Horseshu and 93 clubs were small joints with old
mechanical slots. There was a small bar called the Lucky Seven
(photo). Later on there was a place called Danny’s (the casino with
a heart). The aerial photo, probably taken in the 60s shows (clock-
wise from top right) Cactus Pete’s, Horseshu, 93 Club, at Diamond Jim’s.
