Time was I would drive up to Show Low in the summer to get away from the summer heat. The motel I stayed in was built by the owner and did not have AC but did not need it in the mountain air. The rooms were the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The chips at the Hon Dah are some of my favorites.
