As said, they used everything they could find like old John Huxley stock. Old stock from European casino's was also popular.
I found old clay Paulson in colors nobody saw before. Made some people on the PCF very happy.
You can litteraly find anything when they start cleaning old boxes. I stumbled on part of the stock of Dinant (Belgium) in Eindhoven (Netherlands).
Most of those guys are no longer alive and it's very hard to get in contact with those that are left.
Was invited in a Greek restaurant in Germany this summer because I returned the personal set from Nispen to a good friend, free of charge.
We talked about the timeperiod for hours and hours, stories I can not tell on this public forum.
