As to them being listed in the roulette section of the guide, they should actually be under jetons although there is no section for French roulette anyway, I believe. AR did not use jetons, as far as anybody that I have spoken to knows, but maybe they are all incorrect or their memory is playing tricks but I doubt it.
As to Portsmouth AR tables, according to somebody that played there after it was renamed, there wouldn't have been enough space for 4 FR tables (or indeed, more than 1) and they definitely had AR tables. I don't know if it (FR) was a single layout or double layout version which may explain the 2 different coloured bunnies but the AR chips I was given (2nd and 4th on top row) from an ex employee probably came from Portsmouth and somebody was kind enough to send me a photo of the ones (that match the ones I had) that they were given to him by the ex GM of the Portsmouth club which is good enough for me. They are happy for me to share the photo. Only ones with purple inserts but the other ones listed under London could also have been used. There are no Manchester roulette chips listed either so it's possible that all 3 clubs used them I suppose. I think I know a couple of ex Manchester staff so will see if they remember anything of use. They could just have been the generic style that were used later.
Maybe one day we will know more information as it would be great to know for sure.
