I will agree both of those remarks did not come off well and, both have been repeated by me several times as to how inaccurate some of those statements and still snots can be and I have also mentioned in the same breath about American Westerns and saloon Roulette along with Gone Witn the Wind and 20th Centurh poker chips, that we cannot accept any of that as being even near accurate.
My point about me not mentioning "French Roulette" was just that, I never connected the three Playboy Club jetons to FR, only Roulette.
I know what FR is and how slow and boring it can be, especially to Americans and to whomever else played American (English) Roulette, wherever...
...and, with that, and never having played in any Playboy casino, anywhere, I have no ideas as to what went on in the early years in both Playboy Club or Portsmouth, except what I read in the Portsmouth page and thinking that FR was unpopular in London Playboy with Americans and since the club did attract and cater to Americans, maybe Victor L. and his team thought let's give them the best of both worlds; the French style jetons without denominations where each player will have their own color and whatever value within the house rules and they won't be stuck with playing the same value marked jetons with other players and everyone would be happy who decided to play what appears as Old World Roulette, the American way. I have no idea if that game was in with the Acf, or if it went on as other things went on... and then thinking maybe the team at Portsmouth tried the same thing early on.
I am only sticking with the 4 wheels as noted in CG since it all sounds accurate to me where the drink tip tokens do not (where is a value?) as the training chip thought does not follow the pattern of the training chips that read training and, the part that we have not seen everything yet, also applies to that we do not know how many other series exist and how many colors in each series exist and, if by chance this is the case, are we seeing backup inventory as well and calling them all training chips...?
