But I can't remember who said it... That the weights in the chips cost about 6c each. And they might of been experimenting with the penny to see if the weight was enough to cut costs. There is actually 2 pennies in the $25 chip with the messed up yellow writing. ( One on each side) The issues were that the penny/pennies didn't weight enough and they were not flat, so the inlays wouldn't adhere properly.
Oh...those floor sweepings were mostly Noll & Co. They had some cool chips. The Gardena Club and Mt. Charleston Lodge chips.
