Wells is a small town in Northeast Nevada. At the 2010 census, the population was 1,292. Over the years, for a small town, Wells has had quite a few gambling venues...though it's not easy to find many artifacts, or much information on them.
At 6:16 a.m., on Thursday February 21, 2008, there was a magnitude 6 earthquake that damaged/destroyed many of the buildings in town.

Chalet Bar Casino
The Chalet is a bit of a mystery, to me. We saw the building, we took pictures, it says it was a casino…but I can’t find any phone book listings,
or any information on the place. Maybe it was built, but not licensed.
