Rich he used to park his yacht in Avalon
and occasionally walk through town.
I think it was called the wild goose.
He’d sit there with a drink in hand and
a cigarette in the other in his chair on the side
deck.
I took my skiff and circled his yacht to check him
out one time to see him and his yacht.
I to have met a few actors from growing up in Santa
Monica and Catalina. My grandfather was friends with
Burl Ives and my grandma was friends with Vincent Price.
She also used to baby sit Shirley Temple. When they lived
in Malibu she had pictographs a lot of actors signed she
knew and met. Back then they were just out and about
friendly with people not so afraid of the press.
