I think a lot of the old railroad ties were soaked
in creosote which would make quite an intense
fire as Ron stated. To bad, put in a swimming pool
and palm trees and could a been an oasis ?!?!
Maybe not too many other great places to be.
But looked to be a historic landmark of a place.
