We all have a right to ask questions and all questions deserve an answer. If you don’t agree with the answer you certainly should feel free to express an opinion or even add your own ideas. Mr. Follis suggests that we all go to a different sight to ask questions, but no one goes to that sight and that is why questions and thoughts are expressed on this message board. It has been brought up that these questions should be addressed at the annual business meeting. For many that is not possible for many reasons. What isn’t acceptable is the name calling and wild accusations. I agree with Andy, if you are not happy with the current board members run for a position to replace them. If that is the case, let everyone know what your game plan is and how you will achieve it. If you have the better business plan you will probably be elected and have the opportunity to make effective change. In addition members should not tell someone to exit the club because they are not satisfied. The idea is to find common ground and come up with a better product. I also hear this is just a hobby and just a club and we just want to have fun. That is fine however we do charge money for the privilege of belonging to this club and having fun. Therefore a business element exists within this club and sometimes issues need to be addressed. When things don’t work in business you make necessary changes. This is common sense. I pray this post doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings as it is meant to be constructive.
