There seems to be a common thread running through the CB over the past year and a half. This common thread seems to germinated from two sources, both new to the CCA. These two sources both wanting immediate change in the CCA. And from where I am sitting, I do not see where their input nor their volunteering their help is doing anything but cause more internal strife than what we have had without them. This seem to be very corrosive to our club no matter how you look at it, I think people like Weston Charles, Torrey Morand, Mike Christensen, Steve Cutler…just too name a few; they are all good chippers and have many good ideas and I think they can do a very good job in any position in our club if they were to use their personal time to take on a a board position. We have a very hard working group of board workers; perhaps our Chip Guide could use some policy changes and maybe some upgrading on the administrators. All entities within a club such as ours need upgrading from time to time.

This bickering, name calling, and bad mouthing has absolutely no place in our club, and all who practice it should be given some sort of vacation from using the chip board. PLEASE…consider the really new members and potential new members concerns when they read this garbage. Absolutely all insults and accusations should be a red flag, and be given a vacation from the CB. Take a break from the social media. We use to be a large group of members, friends, collectors that liked each other, by the most part, at least tolerated each other.

The members of long and good standing that have recently stepped up to the plate, to try to defend, their good names, should be given warnings as well. David Spragg; I consider to be a great leader (and puts in endless hours)and since he owns the CB he has the rights to it. If I was in his position I would not hesitate to give all members a time out; then next time enforce it with a sizeable vacation from the CB. These posts are sickening. This is not the complaint board it is the CHIP BOARD!
