The original contract upstairs was for room "C" as I recall which was a smaller room. Years ago we had 21,000 sq ft and only needed 17,000. That number is probably smaller today. But at one contract signing I believe that they offered the larger space (room "D") at the same price and it included the food area. I have no idea what has been negotiated recently but getting a smaller room for our smaller convention would be a good move if it saves money. Something for the BOD to discuss at contract time.
