During the period when we were growing like wildfire, we had three very active message boards and, sometimes, one subject was posted to all three and and the response and new threads on that subject were all over the place and, there certainly was a need to keep track of club business messages for all the obvious reasons Jim and other club officials explained and, of course, many of us agree with... Though, during that growth period we had new visitors to this message board who, when posed a club-related question were hit with "this is not the place..." along with "go to the club message board and..." and, of course, many of them became history, instantly, and never returned... That didn't sit well with me back then and I tried to explain that sometimes when a question is asked that person is looking for as many responses as possible on an active message board before asking the question formally and getting hit with a ton of bricks ended whatever that poster was set out to do... As fast as we were growing back then, we lost some pretty interesting collectors with some pretty good ideas...
