I agree they must have been personal orders. I collect that kind of stuff in old chips. I have at least 128 chips with a different letter on each side. Those are with the basic type face. I have many others like your last chip with unusual type styles. See my grid with different fronts and backs. I also have many with a letter on the front and numbers on the back. Also chips with a letter on the front and a design on the back.
