Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the subject. On the one hand, the data is, in my opinion, useful and very relevant for the hobby and on the other hand, I would not want the ChipGuide to be tainted by poor quality data. Wether that data will affect pricing is another, entirely different issue in my opinion, even though I understand your point Torrey.
The existing infrastructure of the Chipguide (I think the query facility is a fantastic tool) makes it so much easier to find general information. But maybe PCF is the best platform to store that kind of data, it just needs to be easily accessible.
In the meantime, I still think that IF we are going include a « HOARD » tag on certain chips, the information should include more granular data, and maybe the picture used for evidence. If that’s a step too far, maybe the tag shouldn’t be included at all.
